About the role:
Our client is seeking a motivated
Accounts Officer (focus on accounts receivable)
to join their growing finance team based in
Crows Nest
(they will offer 1 day Working From Home and is very close to the Crows Nest Metro). This role offers a great opportunity to build strong technical accounting skills while gaining exposure to a variety of day-to-day finance functions within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Note: Please do not hesitate to apply as this is an immediate start role and our client is looking to interview candidates asap. Given this role will initially start as a 3 month temp role (with potential to extend) they are also open to Working Holiday Visa's.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Raising sales orders.
* Applying cash payments to customer accounts.
* Converting sales orders to invoices.
* Reconciling debtors accounts.
* Other ad-hoc tasks s required by the Finance Manager.
About You:
* Prior experience in a similar role.
* SAP experience is ideal.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
