About this role:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will lead strategic business development initiatives to identify and secure new business opportunities within the QLD coal region. You will build, maintain, and enhance customer relationships through proactive account management and engagement with key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead business development initiatives to identify and secure new sales opportunities.
* Build, maintain, and enhance customer relationships through proactive account management.
* Provide leadership and guidance to technical sales teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
* Actively promote products by conducting technical presentations and demonstrations.
* Conduct regular customer site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
* Analyse business performance and recommend corrective actions.
* Negotiate sales contracts and manage working capital effectively.
About You
We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in underground mining, particularly in coal mining. You should have expertise in ground support materials, practices, and application engineering.
You should have strong business development and customer account management capabilities, with a history of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop long-lasting customer relationships are essential.
You must be able to work autonomously, lead a team effectively, and deliver on strategic business objectives.
