About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing Sydney studio, with the opportunity for an Emerging Associate ready to take the next step. As part of our expanding national landscape team, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering complex, high‐impact projects across public and private sectors. Working within a broader multidisciplinary network of architects, urban designers, interior architects and planners, you'll help shape projects from the earliest strategic conversations through to construction.
With a strong pipeline of work from prominent clients, you will drive design excellence across public domain, open space, master planning and urban precinct projects, bringing advanced technical expertise in materials, construction and relevant standards. Beyond project delivery, you'll contribute to winning new work, mentor emerging talent, build meaningful client relationships and help define the direction of our growing landscape offering. Key Responsibilities
* Possessing an interest and passion about our profession and how we can do better.
* Leading and supporting the delivery of landscape projects across all stages, from pre‐design and concept through to detailed documentation for construction.
* Demonstrating strong knowledge and skills within landscape architecture, including public domain, open space, master planning, and urban precinct projects.
* Preparing high‐quality documentation, reports, presentations, and visual communications to an advanced standard.
* Applying advanced technical knowledge of landscape materials, construction methods and relevant codes and standards.
* Collaborating closely with internal multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to achieve integrated design outcomes.
* Mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing positively to studio culture.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, confidently presenting design ideas and technical solutions.
* Assistance with winning work, including preparation of proposals, bids, and client presentations.
About You
We are looking for an energetic, inquisitive, confident, and experienced senior landscape architect who combines strong design capability with technical excellence and collaborative leadership.
You Will Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture and at least 8 years of experience within the industry. AILA registration is regarded positively.
* Experience delivering landscape architecture projects across multiple stages, with demonstrated involvement or leadership on complex projects.
* Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, detailing and relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
* Advanced design and documentation skills, with the ability to prepare and oversee high‐quality deliverables across all project stages.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients and stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving capabilities, with a proactive and solutions‐focused mindset.
* A collaborative approach and commitment to mentoring and supporting junior team members.
* Ability to manage resources, coordinate teams and contribute to positive financial and project outcomes.
* Advanced proficiency in Revit (essential), Adobe Creative Suite (essential) and Autocad. Experience in other visualisation tools such as SketchUp or Rhino is highly regarded.
