Role Description
Critical Care Registrars provide direct clinical services in Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) Critical Care Department, working across both Albury and Wodonga campuses. They function as part of a team within a major regional trauma retrieval centre.
The primary responsibility is to deliver direct care to patients in the Critical Care Department, managing clinical cases and providing consultation to all patients, either under supervision or supported by Intensive Care Consultants. Registrars participate in quality assurance activities within the department.
They ensure all duties comply with legislative, policy, and guideline requirements, including AWH policies and relevant healthcare legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) recognized by Australia's medical curriculum.
Eligibility for registration with AHPRA - General or Level 3+ supervision.
Australian Citizen or holder of a visa with appropriate work rights.
PGY4+ with significant experience in an Australian Critical Care Department or equivalent, including pediatric and adult clinical experience.
