Our client is looking for Commercial Dishwasher Technicians who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of commercial kitchen appliances and food processing equipment. There are multiple positions available in Sydney NSW, Perth WA, Brisbane QLD, and Melbourne VIC. The positions are full time and you must have a background in Appliance Repairs, including commercial grade warewashers/ cooking & food processing machines. You must have qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering or similar and able to acquire licenses to work as a technician. Job Responsibilities: Electrical System Analysis: Utilize your electrical engineering skills to analyze and assess the electrical systems within commercial dishwashers. Drawing and Diagrams: Prepare accurate drawings, plans, and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry within commercial dishwashers. Design Support: Assist in the design and layout of electrical installations and circuitry in commercial dishwashers, working closely with Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists. Data Collection: Collect crucial data from dishwasher systems, perform tests, conduct complex calculations, and graph results. Prepare charts and tabulations for analysis. Cost Estimation: Estimate materials costs and quantities required for maintenance and repairs of commercial dishwashers. Quality Compliance: Inspect dishwasher designs and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and industry regulations. Equipment Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, test, calibrate, modify, and repair electrical equipment and installations within dishwashers to meet safety and regulatory requirements. Workshop Functions: Execute electrical workshop functions, including the installation of assemblies for protection relays, metering devices, and indicating devices. Research and Experimentation: Collaborate with our engineering team in research and experimentation programs aimed at enhancing dishwasher performance and efficiency. Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to clients and internal teams regarding commercial dishwasher electrical systems. Qualifications/Requirements: Hold relevant industry trade qualifications. A diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred. At least 1 year of relevant employment experience as a technician in a commercial kitchen equipment or electrical engineering role is an advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Have the ability work in busy environments Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment. Must be able to drive and have a valid license. You will be well remunerated (above award) depending on your qualifications and experience. These are fulltime positions with an immediate start and a salary of $70,000 - $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
