ICT Teacher/Tutor Opportunity
CQUniversity's School of Engineering and Technology offers innovative education for students, industry, and communities in regional areas.
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced teachers/tutors to support the delivery of ICT courses. CQUniversity provides Vocational Information and Communications Technology (ICT) units in blocks of 9 or 20 weeks with casual staff contracted based on student enrolments.
* Teacher: A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education, or equivalent is required.
* A Blue Card check is desirable.
* Possession of relevant vocational qualifications at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered is necessary.
* Several years' experience in network planning, installation, and configuration, network security, virtual computing, cyber security, project management, business needs analysis, PC hardware and software technical support are expected.
* Tutor: Qualifications and/or experience meeting recognised occupational competency standards relevant to their field/area and to the level of instruction are required.
* Several years' experience in PC hardware and software technical support are expected.
* A Blue Card check is desirable.
* The TAE Delivery and/or Assessment skill set is desirable.
