Are You the Right Fit?
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual who brings energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for supporting people. You will have strong attention to detail to ensure accurate HR advice, documentation, and processes, along with the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast‑paced environment as you navigate new systems and policies. Your excellent communication and active listening skills will help you build trusted relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including managers, employees, and People & Culture teams. With a practical, fair, and solutions‑focused mindset, you will confidently tackle complex workforce challenges. To succeed in this role, you will have relevant qualifications and/or experience in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, sound knowledge of HR legislation, Awards and policy interpretation, strong proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office, and hold a current Driver’s Licence with the flexibility to travel across the District.
Selection Criteria

1. Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations or qualifications and/or experience deemed equivalent.
2. Please outline how you have provided practical and compliant advice to a manager on a complex workforce matter (e.g., grading, performance, grievance, misconduct, other). How did you ensure your advice was correct, clearly communicated and executed?
3. Provide an example how you have supported a people manager with a non-work-related health condition or excessive Sick leave of an employee. How did you balance organisational requirements with employee wellbeing, and what strategies did you use to ensure the situation was handled effectively?
4. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
