Compliance Officer - 12 Month FTC Key Responsibilities Support the Australia & New Zealand Compliance lead in overseeing the day-to-day compliance framework across the business and affiliated entities. Assist in ensuring adherence with relevant regulatory requirements including the Corporations Act, AML/CTF obligations, ASIC Market Integrity Rules, ASX and ASX 24 Operating Rules, and Privacy legislation. Contribute to the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Plan through regular reviews, risk identification and assessment of existing control frameworks. Help develop, enhance and maintain compliance policies, procedures and internal guidance materials. Monitor and interpret regulatory developments, providing practical advice to stakeholders on potential business impacts and required actions. Partner with local and regional stakeholders to promote a strong compliance culture through training, guidance and ongoing risk support. Assist with compliance investigations, issue management and remediation activities where required. Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of compliance experience gained within a financial services or capital markets environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across various teams and seniority levels. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain regulatory or technical matters in a practical manner. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management capabilities. Proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn and take ownership of new challenges. Commercially minded, adaptable and collaborative in approach.
