Candidates must have experience working with Modern Australian cuisine with a focus on fresh seasonal produce.
What you'll be doing ..
* Managing a busy kitchen including larder ,grill, pizza and desserts.
* Working closely with Exec/Head chef to deliver a consistent high standard of food
* Bringing fresh ideas to the table in terms of menu design .
What we are looking for...
* Proven experience in a similar role in busy venues managing large teams
* Minimum 3-5 years of senior kitchen experience is required.
* Strong technical skills with an eye for detail .
* Creativity and passion for using fresh, high quality produce .
* Experience in functions and events
* Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment .
* Excellent time management and organisational skills .
* A positive team orientated attitude .
* Previous team leadership and training experience is essential for developing upcoming chefs.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
