About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring tools and parts meet engineering requirements, specifications, and tolerances. They will also set up and operate machine tools for fabrication of tooling, and study blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations.
Main Responsibilities
1. Ensure tools and parts meet engineering requirements, specifications, and tolerances.
2. Set up and operate machine tools for fabrication of tooling.
3. Study blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations.
4. Perform regular checks on equipment and maintain them in good condition.
Requirements
* AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
* Minimum 1-year experience in automation or manufacturing industry preferred but not essential.
* Strong experience in workshop machine operations (manual or CNC).
