Pay: $48,000 - $54,000 (depending on experience and performance) plus permanent benefits
Full-time, permanent, on-going 7am – 3pm Monday – Friday

The role:
We are seeking a permanent, Pastry Cook Assistant for mixing, weighing, following recipes, depositing and prepping trays. No previous experience required if the applicants are physically strong and keen to learn. There will be thorough training on the job. Food manufacturing experience and culinary arts qualifications an advantage.
The hours are 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday
The role will require lifting 25kg (e.g., sacks of flour) multiple times throughout the shift. You will be working in a team, assisting in the manufacturing of cakes, slices, cronuts and more. As a wholesaler, we make large batches of any one item.
The very best candidates will already have mixing and weighing experience, gained from working in a fast-paced food production bakery environment, and relevant qualifications, however we are making these positions open to those with no experience but who are physically strong and keen to learn. Employees are encouraged to expand and improve their range of skills in the industry, with the potential for advancement within the company.
Essential characteristics:
