Seeking a highly organised and experienced Coordinator Operations & Compliance to join a team across two vibrant early childhood services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting people, and is committed to delivering high standards in safety, staffing, and compliance.
Qualifications
* Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education.
* Diploma or Degree in HR, Business, or related field (desirable).
* WHS certification or relevant training (desirable).
* Current First Aid (Education & Care setting).
* Valid Working with Children Check.
* Accredited Child Protection Training.
* Strong commitment to Child Safe Standards.
Experience
* Experience in HR, staffing, or operations within Early Childhood or community services.
* Strong knowledge of WHS, risk management, and compliance reporting.
* Experience in rostering, workforce planning, and managing staff compliance.
* Ability to prepare reports for Boards or Committees.
* Knowledge of the National Law, Regulations, and NQS.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee workforce planning, rosters, and HR compliance across both sites.
* Ensure all staff meet qualification, training, and child safe screening requirements.
* Manage WHS processes, incident reporting, and risk registers.
* Report directly to the Board on risk, staffing, and compliance matters.
* Maintain daily operational systems including attendance checks and ratio coverage.
* Support and guide staff to promote safe, positive, and professional practice.
* Assist the Director with policies, procedures, QIP, audits, and regulatory notifications.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, induction, and ongoing training compliance.
* Maintain accurate staffing, WHS, and operational records.
* Provide leadership presence across both sites and act as Director when required.
* Support positive relationships with families and assist with feedback or complaints.
