We are a small data consultancy seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Data Analyst to join our team in Brisbane. Our company delivers analytic and consulting services to a diverse range of Not-for-Profit clients.
About the role
As a Graduate, you will play a valuable role in analysing and interpreting complex data sets to help drive the strategic decision-making of our clients. You will work closely with various stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations that support our client goals.
The role is full-time and 2025 graduates would be considered for negotiable start date from October 2025.
This role will suit a recent or soon to graduate candidate or someone early in their career.
About you
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting systems.
- Use the R programming language to perform statistical analysis and data visualisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all deliverables.
- Ability to build positive rapport with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the R programming language is required.
- Familiarity with targets and data.table is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team.
- Experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with the technology or consulting sector is desirable.
- Familiarity with other programming languages and concepts, such as SQL and Git is desirable.
- Familiarity with fundraising is desirable.
- Experience handling multiple projects at once is desirable.
