This is a permanent part-time (0.2FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026. Weld Square Primary School (PS) is a school that pursues academic excellence and offers a recognised best‐practice pastoral care programme to all its students. The school has well‐established gardens, is surrounded by native bushlands and parklands, and is located in the suburb of Morley, 10 km northeast of Perth. The Role
We are ideally seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher with exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a primary music teacher you would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development. The successful applicant should be motivated, able to teach music and be knowledgeable of the Western Australian Curriculum. The school offers extra‐curricular experiences that enhance the music programme such as Senior Choir (Year 3 to 6) and participation in the annual Massed Choir Festival. The music specialist also supports whole‐school assemblies and community song selection for special events.

Eligibility
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
