Create Space Psychology is searching for a Clinical Psychologist or Clinical Psychology Registrar with private practice experience to join our beautiful space in New Farm, Brisbane.
Both full time or part time roles are available, including the option of weekends if this is desirable.
We are particularly interested in psychologists who have:
* Previous experience in private practice and can confidently provide evidence-based therapy services to adult clients
* Strong interest in working with neurodiversity, complex or acute trauma, anxiety and perfectionism, particularly in highly capable young women
* Interest in completing diagnostic assessments or would like to expand their knowledge and skills in this area
* EMDR training (highly desirable but not required)

The Position:
As part of Create Space, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of adult clients, conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, delivering individualised and evidence-based interventions, and helping to foster a safe environment where clients can feel seen, understood and empowered.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Provide evidence-based psychological therapies to adult clients which is individualised to their unique needs (i.e., such as EMDR, Schema Therapy, IFS, ACT/CBT etc)
* Although our client needs are typically centred around navigating late diagnosed neurodiversity (i.e. ADHD/Autism in highly capable women), as well as treatment of complex trauma and anxiety/perfectionism we can support you to upskill or build out a client list that suits your interests
* Option to complete diagnostic and cognitive assessments if you desire (but not required)
* Practice in alignment with AHPRA standards, hold a medicare provider number, ABN and individual professional indemnity/public liability insurance

You will be joining the director, Dr Candice Fenner, who is an experienced clinical psychologist & neuropsychologist and board-approved supervisor. This offers you the chance to work closely together and provides opportunities for frequent supervision and upskilling if desired whilst still ensuring your independence and autonomy is prioritised.
