Job Description What you'll do
We are looking for a live-in care assistant in Welshpool for a lady who also has a young son who has autism. You will be required to assist with the son and take him to school.
The successful candidate will be required to use the service user's car for this purpose only, candidates over the age of 25 will be permitted to drive due to insurance policy.
Our live-in care assistants are extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting vulnerable people to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you'll provide day-to-day companionship, personal care, assist clients with activities of daily living, and help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework. We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided with a private room and have adequate breaks each day. Every day will be different, and you'll never know what challenges you're about to face next. One thing you can be sure of is that you'll be making your clients' days brighter.
Qualifications What you'll need
You don't need any social care experience to apply for this role. We're more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You'll need to be resilient and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
