AGED CARE CAREERS DAY
Newcastle Anglican are holding a careers open day for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses & Care Assistants looking to join one of our facilities in Taree in either a Permanent, Part Time or Casual capacity. The open day will be held on Thursday 20th November in Taree at 10am - 1pm.
The open day will give you the opportunity to meet with current staff and have a tour of Storm Village Retirement Home in Taree.
Only people who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be invited to the open day.
Facility locations – Taree & Cundletown – Storm Village & Bishop Tyrell Place.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Actively promote Anglican Care's positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
* Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
* Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
* Abide by Aged Care Standards
* Work as an effective team member
About you?
* Certificate III/IV in Individual Support for Care Assistants.
* Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
* An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to accurately document resident's care/progress
