The Assistant Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of logistics solutions, designing and implementing end-to-end logistics solutions for customers. He / She is also responsible for managing and influencing both internal and external stakeholders and overseeing the manpower utilization under his / her supervision.Key Accountabilities:Operational Logistics Strategies:Execute logistics strategies on daily operations matters.Drive Logistics Operations:Manage daily operational logistics workflow and procedures.Develop solutions to address gaps and weaknesses in logistics operations.Collaborate with third-party transporters to streamline the delivery process.Monitor product inventory levels to ensure sufficient stocks for customers.Customer Services Operations:Supervise the Planners in the planning and delivery of logistics needs to meet customers’ needs.Forecast and manage customer needs.Resolve any customer issues and inquiries.Post Delivery Operations:Supervise the Planners in the post-delivery operations to ensure all necessary documentation is met.Review the policies, standards, and procedures.Project Management:New business and improvement projects.Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations.A qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.Experience and proficiency in requirements management, business analysis, and solution definition.Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, multitask, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
