Job Description:
This is a part-time opportunity to join our team in Hobart, working three days per week. As a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner, you will be responsible for coordinating management of workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries, including investigations and corrective actions. You will also conduct ongoing auditing, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of overall WH&S performance.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate management of workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries, including investigations and corrective actions.
* Risk assess work activities and environments.
* Conduct ongoing auditing, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of overall WH&S performance.
* Perform quarterly safety audits and inspections.
* Attend safety committee meetings within head office and at local sites to raise awareness, provide expertise, advise on policy updates, and discuss inspection reports and trending data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety, minimum Cert IV WHS.
* Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation, regulations, codes, and standards.
* Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
* Understanding of risk management strategies in workplace safety.
* Experience in project implementation.
