We are looking for a Senior Environmental Advisor to join a leading port and heavy industry organisation on a 3-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead environmental compliance, manage projects, and drive sustainability initiatives in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage environmental projects, including scoping, scheduling, and budgeting.
Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and reporting under legislation, licences, and approvals.
Analyse and manage environmental data to support strategic decision-making.
Develop and deliver environmental training, inductions, and awareness programs.
Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System (ISO *****).
Qualifications Experience: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or Engineering.
Minimum 5 years' experience in environmental management, preferably in ports, heavy industry, or logistics.
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, policies, and compliance standards.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting skills.
