This position offers a salary of $131,870.90 - $134,500.70 per annum + 11.5% super & salary packaging, and is a permanent full-time role at the Illawarra Drug & Alcohol Service (iDAS). The application deadline is 31 July 2025.
The Nurse Educator will be responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating education programs at the facility level to support evidence-based, person-centered care within the Drug and Alcohol Service. Responsibilities include orientation and transitioning for new nursing staff, meeting ongoing educational needs, and supporting clinical placement of students.
Collaborating with the Nurse Unit Manager/Nurse Manager and hospital teams, the Nurse Educator will develop, implement, and evaluate clinical education programs relevant to the D&A specialty, provide clinical supervision, and focus on quality and safety.
Requirements include applicable vaccination requirements, Working With Children Check (WWCC), current AHPRA registration, and a valid NSW driver's license.
