Job Description
Deliver safe, compassionate, and person‐centred nursing care while making a meaningful difference across the patient journey. We're currently seeking passionate Enrolled Nurses to join our teams across two key care settings:
* Recovery Unit: Skilled monitoring of patients' vital signs, effective management of pain relief, and support throughout the critical post‐operative recovery phase. Requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and patient‐centred care.
* Aged Care Unit: Support older adults with complex, multi‐morbid health needs, enhancing assessment, monitoring, and person‐centred care skills while delivering compassionate, holistic care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence‐based nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Communicate effectively in a person‐centred and culturally appropriate manner with patients, carers, and colleagues to achieve positive patient outcomes.
* Work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, while maintaining accountability for your clinical practice, professional development, and performance.
* Support and contribute to a positive learning environment through participation in teaching, coaching, and the development of others.
* Practice in line with professional standards, legislation, and NSW Health values, demonstrating ethical practice, professionalism, and a commitment to safe, high‐quality care.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in a clinical environment relevant to recovery, aged care, or a similar specialty setting.
* Proven ability to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care aligned with best practice and patient needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage patients, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
* Ability to interact with others in a professional and personable manner, with demonstrated skills in managing and resolving conflict constructively.
* Evidence of critical thinking in the delivery of evidence‐based nursing care, with an understanding of risk management, work health and safety, and quality improvement principles.
