This position is full-time and based in Darra .
Job Details Hercules is an Australian family-owned company that has been in operation since ****.
They specialise in the design and manufacture of tipper bodies and trailers that can be manufactured in aluminium, steel or hardox.
You will be mentored by industry professionals while completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework and will be working in their customised Darra workshop.
Your duties will include the manufacture, fabrication and assembly of components, welding, working with a variety of hand and power tools and relevant machinery, assembly of parts, and learning to interpret drawings.
Work hours are 6am to 3.30pm.
You will accrue RDO hours with an RDO taken on the Friday (fortnightly).
There is the opportunity to do overtime on Saturdays.
About You We are looking for a locally based candidate who is mechanically minded, has a keen interest in fabrication and welding and is genuinely interested in the heavy automotive industry.
You will need to have self-motivation, the capacity to show initiative and not be afraid to ask questions when required.
Coupled with a strong desire to build a career, you will be driven to learn new skills and relish taking on new challenges, and approach problem-solving with a creative and innovative mind.
