Ruh-al-Fann (meaning Soul of Art) is an emerging artisanal heritage clothing and art brand rooted in Kashmiri craftsmanship. We work with traditional artisans to create limited-edition, handcrafted pieces that sit at the intersection of culture, art, and contemporary fashion.
We are now looking for a Co-Founder (Business & Growth) based in Australia to help build, fund, and scale the brand globally.
The Role
This is a founding-level opportunity, not a job.
You will lead the business, fundraising, and market expansion side of the company while collaborating closely with the Founder, who leads creative direction, craft, and cultural stewardship.
Responsibilities
Lead fundraising (angel, impact, fashion-focused investors)
Build and scale online presence (brand, website, content, launches)
Drive sales, partnerships, and market entry in Australia and beyond
Manage operations, logistics, and compliance
Build relationships with galleries, concept stores, and curators
Help define long-term go-to-market and growth strategy
Who You Are
Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and execution-oriented
Experience in startups, fashion, consumer brands, art, or fundraising
Strong storytelling and relationship-building skills
Deep respect for heritage, craft, and cultural authenticity
Comfortable building something from early stage to scale
You do not need to be from fashion specifically — but you must value art, culture, and meaning over fast fashion.
