Specialist AudiologistClosing date: 09 October 2025We are privileged to advertise three new band 7 posts to complement our existing team.
These are important roles to deliver key clinical activity in both hospital and community clinics.

This is a great opportunity for you to develop your skills in a large training department with a strong research programme.Two 7 month B7 posts 37.5 hours per weekWe are looking to recruit individuals with experience in any of the following areas:Complex adult audiological testing and rehabilitationPaediatric assessment and habilitation.We are working to support ENT recovery and you will be expected to deliver some sessions assessing and treating patients in an audiology-first ENT service delivery model.
Main duties of the jobThe provision of a comprehensive audiology service within the context of the wider departmentCarrying out a range of diagnostic audiological testsProviding a comprehensive rehabilitation service to hearing impaired adults and childrenProvision of rehabilitative services to adults with complex needsMaintaining own professional knowledge and contribute to the clinical developments of the departmentUsing knowledge and experience in the training and supervision of junior staffWorking independentlyIf you can demonstrate exceptional clinical abilities and a proven track record of service development, we would be interested to hear from you.
You must have excellent communication skills and have a desire to find creative and effective solutions for patients with a variety of hearing and balance problems.
You will be a competent practitioner and able to work without supervision in the main department and at satellite clinics.
You will be expected to develop specialist expertise in some of our complex clinics although training will be given.
We are a training department and you would be expected to contribute to training junior staff and PTP and STP trainees at BSc and MSc level.You will have at least a BSc or MSc in Audiology or equivalent and will already have gained experience in a clinical setting.
You must be AHCS/HCPC registered or working towards this.
