McArthur are currently seeking applications for the position of APS6 Senior Adviser - Workforce Data and Systems. This will be a 6 month role with potential for extension.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:
Provide strategic and operational advice and support for managers and employees on a range of workplace policies and human resources (HR) matters consistent with legislation and Australian Public Service (APS) requirements.
Develop, manage and implement strategies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and APS and departmental polices.
Provide updates and reports to senior management on the progress of HR strategies and initiatives.
Work collaboratively with other teams across the branch to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing.
Take accountability and ownership for preparing and writing communications and papers for a variety of audiences.
Develop and manage relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
Role model behaviours which are inclusive, collaborative and encourage curiosity and innovation.
Demonstrate capability in line with the Integrated Leadership System at the APS6 level.

Previous experience working in a similar HR role
Supports productive working relationships
