Where the team fits in
The Account Executive sits within the Developer Sales team. The Developer team works with property developers to promote their Projects and New Homes through a suite of world class display and classified media products across Australia’s favourite property websites and mobile apps, realestate.com.au and realcommercial.com.au. When you join the Developer team, you join a cross-functional group of high achievers representing product, IT, sales and marketing, supported by PR, communications, HR, finance, legal – all the people you need to provide exceptional products and services to Australia’s property developer community. The team is responsible for ensuring the needs of property developers are always at the forefront, as well as creating products our consumers love and customers’ value.
What the role is all about
* Assist in training newer members of the team
* Be proficient in system processes & procedures and keep team updated on changes
* Attend fortnightly Sales Executive stand-ups across all states to share learnings and increase team efficiencies
* Support the Sales manager by coordinating quarterly ‘Team Building’ exercises and client/inter-office events
* Hold weekly meetings with Account Managers to discuss support in their objectives
* Assist Account Managers with high-level client conversations in their absence
* Help maintain existing smaller clients with support from account managers
* Serve as the secondary point of contact for clients and CXP regarding customer service inquiries
* Attend client visits with Account Managers to learn the sales process
* Proactively support Account Managers with contract preparation, building media schedules, and sales collateral
* Provide regular subscription and campaign reports as required
* Analyze data to support ROI discussions
* Work closely with Digital Campaign Managers to optimize campaigns and meet client expectations
* Report weekly on available inventory
* Identify additional revenue opportunities when applicable
* Ensure image and brand reputation are maintained
* Participate in training for new products as needed
Who we’re looking for
* Someone with experience supporting a busy sales team
* Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred but not essential
* Knowledge of media processes and strategies is a plus
* Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Solution-focused mindset for tricky situations
* Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, agile environment
