Patience Sandland is a family owned and operated landscaping supply business located in Geraldton, Western Australia. We are currently seeking a suitably experienced MC Road Train Driver to join our team. This full-time position offers a variety of work in the Geraldton - Midwest Region for individuals seeking stable full-time employment.
Overview
Full time Geraldton, WA based residential position
• Monday to Friday and rotating Saturday morning
• Day work, however occasional overnight trips may be required with a generous overnight allowance paid.
• Immediate start available for successful candidates
• Permanent full-time employment with annual leave, sick leave and other entitlements
Responsibilities
* Operate MC Road Trains with Road Ranger experience, including double and triple side and end tipper configurations
* Meet the scheduling requirements: Monday to Friday with rotating Saturday mornings; occasional overnight trips may be required
* Maintain safety, apply safe work practices, mass management and fatigue management practices
* Comply with highway regulations and company policies; be available for immediate start
Qualifications
* Resident of Geraldton or surrounding district (non-residents need not apply as accommodation/relocation is not provided; this is not FIFO/DIDO/Shift work)
* Current MC Licence, preferably with at least 2 years' experience driving road trains
* Road Ranger experience is essential
* Experience with side and end tipper configurations (double and triple)
* Harvest/Grain haulage experience preferable but not essential
* Front end wheel loader experience preferable but not essential
* A commitment to safety and pre-employment requirements
