Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Child Psychologist for an on-site position located in Devonport, TAS. In this role, you will conduct psychological assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and provide counseling services to children and families. Responsibilities include administering psychological tests, conducting therapy sessions (individual and group), and collaborating with parents and other professionals to support the mental health of children. You will also document progress, deliver reports, and take part in regular professional development activities.
Qualifications
* Strong foundation Psychological practice with AHPRA registration, a valid working with children check and interest and skills working with children and families.
* Experience and knowledge in Psychological Testing and Asessment
* Proficiency in Child and/or Family Therapy and related therapeutic interventions
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and community mental health services
* Sound experience in working with children and adolescents is highly desirable
* Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred
