About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Sherbrooke Family and Children's Centre.
By effectively engaging with educators, families, and children from all social and cultural backgrounds, you will be integral to the day-to-day care and education of young children. You will recognise the uniqueness of every child and take a holistic approach toward early education and care by accommodating every child's individual emotional, physical, and psychological needs.
You will work as a team member within a fully integrated family and children's centre to provide an environment that is safe, suitable and provides a rich and diverse range of experiences which promote learning and care through:
* Implementing high quality children's programs, responding to individual strength, interests and needs of children and families.
* Assisting in the creation of a safe, healthy setting that enhances children's autonomy, initiative, self-worth, and dignity.
* Demonstrating the National Quality Standards through implementing and practicing all elements in each quality area.

* This is full-time permanent Cert III position with a starting salary of $66,591 (Band 3), plus 11.5% superannuation.

What you'll bring to our team
* Cert III or higher in Children's Services or Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
* You're a team player committed to maintaining a supportive and collaborative culture.
* Ability to build and maintain great relationships with children and families.
* Ability to carry out tasks confidently and autonomously.
* Sound practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the Early Years Learning Framework.
* Current First Aid (HLTAID012), Asthma & Anaphylaxis and Mandatory Reporting qualifications or willingness to complete.
