**What is the opportunity?**
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stock Controller to join the team in this newly created role. Reporting to the Business Analyst this role will be responsible for supporting the sales team with managing the inventory of our marketable used vehicles together with managing the wholesale process of used vehicles in accordance with our defined process and guidelines.
**Further to the above the duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following**:
- Analyse sales history and local area trends to determine the best purchasing mix to support the business analyst
- Develop and maintain relationships with our preferred wholesale suppliers
- Track results of auction and wholesale sales of used cars and compare gross profit
- Ensure vehicles are tracked across our sites and online sales
- Arrange transport of all stock movements between sites and to our reconditioning locations working with the team to coordinate direct deliveries
- Monitor aging used stock and provide key stakeholders weekly reports
- Complete weekly and monthly reporting
- Have experience in a similar role
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have outstanding negotiation skills
- Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Have a passion for valuable customer service
- Valid drivers licence
