Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from Synchro PartnersRecruitment Consultant at Synchro Partners | Building technology teams across Synchro Partners is partnering with a leading organisation who are currently growing and transforming and are looking for a very hands on Infrastructure Consultant to join the team.The role revolves around leading and overseeing the technical delivery of infrastructure systems, with a particular focus on modernisation, migration, and transformation.Key Responsibilities• Lead the planning and execution of a major infrastructure migration/transformation• Oversee all technical aspects of infrastructure operations including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments• Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and vendors• Collaborate with architecture, security, and project delivery teams to ensure alignment and stability• Ensure uptime, scalability, and security during and after the migration• Manage risk, compliance, and documentation throughout the transformation lifecycle• Oversee day-to-day operations of networks, servers, storage, and virtual environments• Act as the senior technical authority for infrastructure platforms and solutions• Manage, mentor, and support a team of infrastructure engineers and support staff• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and procedures• Manage third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring SLAs are met• Ensure infrastructure security, resilience, and compliance with policies and regulations• Monitor system performance and plan for capacity and future growth• Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and resolutionKey Requirements:• Strong experience as a Technical Infrastructure Consultant in enterprise environments• Proven track record leading or delivering complex infrastructure migrations• Deep technical expertise across infrastructure stacks: virtualization, networking, cloud (Azure, AWS), storage, and monitoring• Experience managing vendors and third-party providers• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, security standards, and change managementSynchro Partners by Slade Group are technology recruitment specialists.
