Job Title: E&I Technician
An exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician has arisen. We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and maintain the technical aspects of our Cavern facility.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of modern field instrumentation, process control systems, and emergency shutdown systems. They should also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
* Maintenance of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instrumentation
* Diagnosis and repair of faults, interpreting instrument drawings and logic charts
* Analysis and rectification of electrical equipment and circuits
* Maintenance of high standards in recording results in Computerised Maintenance Management System
* Adherence to Site Safety Management System
Key Responsibilities:
Instrumentation and Control:
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various types of instruments, including electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic devices. You should have a good understanding of process control systems, emergency shutdown systems, and distributed control systems.
Electrical Systems:
You will be responsible for analyzing and rectifying electrical equipment and circuit issues. This includes troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. A thorough understanding of electrical circuit drawings and knowledge of electrical distribution systems is essential.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A trade qualification in instrument technician/electrical fitter or equivalent
* A full electrical license
* Excellent knowledge of modern field instrumentation, process control systems, and emergency shutdown systems
* 5 years' minimum industrial experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry
* Computer literacy and ability to work with computerized maintenance management systems
