Our client is a family-owned commercial construction group that has been operating for over 50 years and delivers projects across all major commercial sectors. They have a strong pipeline of projects with initial projects being across Education ($120M) and Retirement ($80M).
Description
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met.
* Oversee project planning, programming, budgeting, and reporting to maintain strong commercial control.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, performance, and site coordination.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
* Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe, compliant delivery.
* Mentor and support project teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performing project environment.
Profile
* Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish, across multiple sectors.
* Experience working on multiple commercial projects around $100 million
* Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, risk management, and contract administration.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Results-driven, with a focus on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
* Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or project management, with professional registration preferred.
