* Full-time, Ongoing position at Academic Level C.
* Based at the NSW Police Academy, Goulburn.
* Salary: $150,081 – $172,392 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will be based at the New South Wales Police Academy in Goulburn and play a key role in delivering the Associate Degree in Applied Policing for students preparing to become police officers with the NSW Police Force. You will teach across face‐to‐face and online modes and contribute to subject and curriculum development aligned to an integrated policing curriculum.
You will maintain an active research and scholarship profile in policing, criminology, law or a related discipline. This includes publishing in high‐quality journals, preparing competitive research grant applications and engaging with industry and professional partners to strengthen research relevance and impact.
You will work collaboratively with academic and professional colleagues across the School of Social Sciences, the Faculty and the NSW Police Academy. You will contribute to mentoring early career academics, support student engagement and participate in service and administrative activities that support the School's strategic priorities.

About You
* A PhD in policing, criminology, criminal justice or a related discipline, or equivalent standing.
* Demonstrated achievement in high‐quality research and publications at Level C.
* Experience delivering innovative, student‐centred teaching using contemporary methods.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
* Capacity to build effective partnerships with industry and community stakeholders.
