There are two small hospitals within 100kms, located at Blackwater and Springsure. Emerald Hospital is a 32-bed facility, has two operating theatres and approximately 160 staff delivering services across acute, community and primary care.
Our vision, outlined in our Destination 2030: Great Care for Central Queenslanders Strategy is for Emerald Hospital to be the Central Highlands hub for emergency, maternity, diagnostic and some surgical services. We will invest in Telehealth technology to provide local access to services wherever possible.
About the role:
The Ward Receptionist (Accident and Emergency) role is ideal for a dynamic self-motivated person who thrives on working in a busy, fast paced environment. You are required to provide a high standard of administrative support to all functional areas within the Emergency Department.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $19,531 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $ $43.16 p.h.
