About Us
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Operations & Assurance team who lead the efficient application of SIRA's licensing, supervision and enforcement function. This team is responsible for leading a team of auditors to determine the compliance of regulated entities against their obligations within the NSW personal injury schemes.

Your responsibilities will include
* Design and deliver end-to-end audits and provide expert advice to stakeholders, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
* Develop and maintain audit policies and procedures aligned with SIRA's regulatory framework to promote accountability.
* Oversee the annual audit and quality assurance schedule, ensuring effective delivery and appropriate methodologies.
* Contribute to audit and compliance program development and recommend improvements to support strategic goals.
* Prepare post-implementation reviews, compliance reports, and regular updates on audit outcomes and actions.
* Stay informed on scheme obligations, industry trends, and emerging issues to deliver innovative, best-practice solutions.
* Support the broader delivery of SIRA's regulatory functions.
