As a Business Development Manager of HR & Payroll, you'll own the go‑to‑market strategy for your product. You'll focus on generating new business, increasing adoption within existing customers, and building trusted relationships across industries. Collaborating closely with teams across Sales, Industry, Marketing, and Product, you'll help drive sustainable growth and shape the direction of our solutions.
What You'll Be Doing
* Reporting to the Product General Manager, you'll design and execute the go‑to‑market strategy.
* Grow product footprint and acquire new customers in partnership with Sales and Industry leaders.
* Work across Australia, New Zealand and the UK as we disrupt and transform the HCM market.
* Launch product upsell and cross‑sell initiatives with Marketing and articulate the Enterprise value proposition.
* Conduct industry and geographic customer needs analysis to identify opportunities and fit.
* Manage and support a rolling four‑quarter pipeline for the HR & Payroll Products.
* Deliver tailored value propositions, support demos, and develop ROI analyses.
* Partner with presales, solution architects and product teams to design customer‑focused offerings.
* Be the HR & Payroll subject‑matter expert, partnering with sales and presales teams in ANZ and UK.
* Monitor global HCM trends and competitor products to influence product strategy and roadmap.
* Champion innovation, continuous improvement and thought leadership across the Enterprise.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in HR and/or Payroll SaaS sales and business development.
* Strong preference for UK as well as ANZ experience.
* Experience working in complex global business and matrix management.
* Ideally experience in Public Sector or Education Sector HCM sales or services.
* Strong consultative and solution‑led sales skills.
* Ability to build strategic relationships and support customer references.
* Recognised as an HCM influencer.
* Deep understanding of the people management domain and impacts.
* Skilled communicator and influencer across stakeholders.
* Experience coaching and enabling cross‑functional teams.
