Due to ongoing growth, we have an opportunity for a High Pressure Water Jetting & Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team on a 3/1 roster (FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie-based).
Key Responsibilities
As a High Pressure Water Jetting & Vacuum Truck Operator, your role will include:
* Operate vacuum trucks and associated equipment for industrial cleaning activities, including vacuum loading and ultra-high-pressure water blasting.
* Perform pipe and surface cleaning using high-pressure water jetting techniques in line with job requirements and safety standards.
* Complete pre-start checks and routine inspections, ensuring all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and safe to operate.
* Follow all site safety procedures, including confined space entry, working at heights, and other high-risk activities.
* Accurately complete job dockets, safety documentation and compliance paperwork within required timeframes.
* Operate all plant and equipment responsibly, maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency and professionalism.
* Work collaboratively within the crew to maintain a positive team culture and uphold UHP Solutions' reputation on site.
Essential RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Current High Pressure Water Jetting (UHPWJ) competency ticket:
* Operators – MSMSS00018
* Assistants – MSMSS00017
* Current HR Driver's Licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating vacuum trucks (HC Licence desirable)
* Current tickets for Confined Space Entry, Working at Heights, EWP, and Forklift (LF)
* Proven hands-on experience in high-pressure water jetting and vacuum loading operations
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in high-pressure water jetting operations
* A solid understanding of safety protocols and WHS compliance in industrial and mining environments
* A current White Card (Construction Induction)
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
* Current National Police Clearance (dated within three months)
To Be Considered, You Will Need to Demonstrate:
* Relevant experience in a similar role, with the ability to clearly outline your competencies and prior work history during the recruitment process.
* A strong commitment to safety, with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards in all aspects of work.
* Willingness and ability to work away on remote sites for periods of up to and potentially over 3 weeks at a time.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and daily tasks based on client and project requirements — including longer or shorter stints as needed.
* A positive team attitude and a willingness to take on a variety of duties to support overall job completion.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, in line with mine site access requirements.
