The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a warehouse operator who is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to join our team, starting in truck loading, at the Trewin Street site at Ballarat.
This role will be a 5 Day week, rotating 8-hour shifts. Typically Starting 6am Monday with the completion of 5 days being Friday 5pm.
What You'll Do
* Manually picking, collating and packing orders
* Stock Control and Replenishments
* Performing manual labour tasks, including lifting, packing, cleaning, and walking around the site
* Machine operations within the warehouse operation
* Completing warehouse-related paperwork
* Loading and unloading trucks using a variety of forklifts
What You Bring
* Forklift license (required) with a minimum of 12 months experience using a Counter Balance Forklift
* Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
* Ability to work autonomously
* Strong attention to detail
* Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role
* Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
* Candidates who display a strong history of long-term employment in their recent roles will be prioritised
Additional Requirements
* Pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
* Provide Laminex with 2 x professional referees (following interviews)
* Legally work in Australia without restrictions
