This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a market leading company. This end-to-end payroll position will suit someone energetic, upbeat and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, this is a 6-month temporary contract supporting a large, nationally distributed workforce across multiple states. You'll be part of a collaborative team, with a primary focus on weekly wages payroll processing, alongside the opportunity to float across the broader team and assist where needed.
The Responsibilities
* End-to-end weekly payroll processing for a high-volume employee base
* Monitoring the inbox, investigating and resolving queries
* Master data entry and maintaining employee records
* Prepare and lodge payroll tax, WorkCover and superannuation
* Administrative duties including setting up new employee folders and starter packs
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5 years' payroll experience; applications from junior Payroll Officers also welcomed
* Experience in high-volume payroll environments with multiple EAs
* SAP, ADP, or Kronos experience highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of Awards/EBAs
* Ability to prioritise and display excellent time management skillsExcellent communication and a collaborative team approach
