*The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist - Senior (Paediatrics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Demonstrate independent clinical reasoning and professional judgement in paediatric physiotherapy clinical practice
Provide timely, high level clinical advice to a range of health professionals and stakeholders
Work collaboratively with the Physiotherapy Paediatric senior leadership team
Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
AHPRA Registration
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

About Us
The Physiotherapy Department works across the Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, and Robina Health Precinct, employing upwards of 100 Full Time equivalent Physiotherapists and Physiotherapy Assistants within Inpatient, Outpatient and Community services.
Allied Health Professionals within Gold Coast Health have access to an additional Professional Capability Framework for Allied Health which complements the organisation-wide Core Capability Framework. The Professional Capability Framework details the professional capabilities for Allied Health positions, providing a common language and set of expectations across the professions, and acting as a developmental tool to support and inform discussions about professional skill development and career progression within Gold Coast Health.
