About your role
As the Nurse Educator – Medical Education Unit (MEU), you will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of contemporary education programs that support prevocational medical officers across Redland Hospital.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Designing, implementing and evaluating specialised education and training programs for prevocational medical officers
* Providing expert education leadership, including clinical teaching, simulation-based learning, and teamwork training
* Supporting junior medical officers directly on the wards and through the MEU, fostering capability, confidence and multidisciplinary collaboration
* Coordinating and maintaining education frameworks, policies, guidelines and quality initiatives
About You
You are an experienced and credible Registered Nurse Educator with a strong understanding of healthcare education systems and a passion for developing others.
You Will Bring
* Advanced experience in clinical education, workforce development or professional training within a hospital or health service environment
* Demonstrated capability in designing, delivering and evaluating evidence-based education programs, including simulation
* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in quality improvement, research, policy development and the use of EMR and digital education systems

Redland Hospital is the major health centre for adults and children in the Redlands and Brisbane's southern bayside suburbs. We provide a range of services including emergency care, primary health and minor injury care, acute and subacute medicine, general surgery, maternity and paediatric, mental specialist outpatient and mental health care.
