Strategic Case Leadership
* As a Strategic Case Leader, you will work collaboratively with practitioners to develop and implement effective case strategies that prioritize the needs of Aboriginal children and families.
1. In partnership with community stakeholders, co-convene regular meetings to develop plans for change ensuring safety, stability, and development of Aboriginal children.
2. Provide education, training, and consultation to child protection staff on achieving case objectives within agreed timeframes.
The role involves working closely with Aboriginal communities to ensure culturally appropriate practice is embedded across all aspects of child protection services. This includes developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and maintaining open communication channels throughout the process.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment while also being able to manage competing priorities. They must have sound knowledge of contemporary best practice in social work including evidence-based interventions for vulnerable populations such as Aboriginal children.[/list]
