About the role
The Doctors Bushland Beach is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join their dynamic team at their clinic in Bushland Beach, QLD. As Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the medical practice, overseeing all administrative and operational aspects of the business. This full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your exceptional leadership and organisational skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
* Manage all administrative and operational functions of the medical practice, including staff management, financial oversight, and patient experience
* Implement and maintain effective policies, procedures, and systems to streamline practice workflows
* Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of the administrative team
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the practice runs smoothly
* Analyse practice data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives
* Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices
* Foster a positive, patient-centric culture that promotes excellent customer service
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical practice management role or similar position in the healthcare industry
* Strong understanding of medical practice operations, including clinical workflows, practice management software, and regulatory requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders
* Proven track record in leading and motivating a team, with a collaborative and empathetic management style
* Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and cost control
* Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
