The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Care Workers to join the team at Bethanie Illawong, located in Hamilton Hill, on a casual basis. Bethanie Illawong is a small and homely 39-bed aged-care facility offering features such as a hairdressing salon and wellness centre. Join our friendly team and become a part of the community!
This role is currently being offered on a casual basis with a range of morning, afternoon, and night shifts available.
Role Responsibilities
* Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met
* Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic, and interest activities) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
* Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
* Maintain residents’ rooms and the facility environment to an appropriate standard
About You
* Previous experience working in aged care or hospital environments
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
* Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of The Bethanie Group
* Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (COVID-19 and annual flu)
* Current National Police Clearance or willingness to apply for one
