Role Description This is a role for a Fauna Spotter Catcher working a DIDO role Monday - Friday. The Fauna Spotter Catcher is requires to have minimim 3 years Fauna Spotter Catching experience. Will be responsible for identifying and safely relocating wildlife during pre-clearing and clearing activities. Daily tasks include conducting fauna surveys, monitoring wildlife habitats, liaising with project managers and construction teams, safely catching and relocating animals, and maintaining detailed records of faunal activities.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience as a Fauna Spotter in wildlife identification and handlingKnowledge of local flora and fauna, including endangered speciesExcellent observational and record-keeping skillsCapability to work safely and ethically with wildlifeProblem-solving and decision-making skills in the fieldAbility to work independently in outdoor and potentially adverse conditionsRelevant qualifications in environmental science, ecology, or related fieldAppropriate licenses and certifications for fauna handling
