Procurement Expert Wanted
We are seeking highly skilled procurement specialists to join our team for multiple projects across Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing procurement strategy, compliance, and execution from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate supplier capability, and maintain procurement databases.
* Liaise with business stakeholders to align on business requirements, scopes, and specifications.
* Manage all external and internal stakeholder communication to ensure effective and compliant procurement processes.
* Maintain and report procurement activity status weekly during the bidding phase.
* Define vendor lists, prepare requests for proposal, and manage commercial and contractual negotiation activities.
* Assess offers, prepare commercial comparison sheets, and deliver competitive commercial outcomes.
* Negotiate commercial and contractual conditions with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in procurement roles supporting large infrastructure or energy projects.
* A background in client/consultancy/EPC/EPCM contracting and Tier 1 or 2 major delivery environments.
* Confidence in having technical and commercial discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
* A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or finance.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and platforms like SAP, Oracle, or JDE.
