Occupational Therapist – Community Aged Care
Part-Time or Full-Time | Minimum 3 Days/Week | Flexible for the Right Fit | Servicing Sunshine Coast

As a small, values-driven practice primarily working within the aged care sector, we provide personalised, high-quality care that honours each individual’s unique story. What You’ll Need:
1. A recognised Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
2. AHPRA registration
3. Police Check
4. Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
5. Professional indemnity insurance

Desired:
1. Experience in community-based occupational therapy
2. Understanding of aged care funding streams (e.g., HCP, CHSP, STRC)
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting comprehensive functional assessments and evaluating the need for assistive technology (from low to complex risk) and home modifications
2. Designing and delivering individualised therapy plans that enhance functional independence
3. Educating clients and families on practical strategies to improve daily living
4. Collaborating with referrers and stakeholders to ensure client-centred care
5. Producing high-quality documentation that reflects your clinical reasoning and supports your recommendations
6. Staying up-to-date with evidence-based practice and engaging in ongoing professional development
