Registered Healthcare Professional
We are seeking a skilled Registered Healthcare Professional to join our dynamic team at Freeman House. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services, including detox support, to individuals experiencing substance dependence, mental health issues, and homelessness.
Your expertise will directly contribute to improving the lives of people facing complex challenges, ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve.

Key responsibilities include:
* Providing comprehensive clinical healthcare services to clients with diverse needs
* Collaborating with management on client intake and assessments
* Coordinating access to essential medical services, including GP, podiatry, optometry, psychiatry, and detox support
* Liaising between medical practitioners, pharmacies, and support staff
* Supporting clients with challenging behaviors and ensuring high standards of care
* Mentoring and supervising medication assistance staff
* Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with relevant standards

The ideal candidate will possess:
* Registration as a Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups
* A passion for working with people facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance dependence
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Knowledge of alcohol and other drug dependency care
* Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development
